🔥 The Phone Call That Almost Ruined Destiny’s Birthday
Larry was finally enjoying the moment. Destiny’s Sweet 16 birthday celebration was in full swing.
Everyone was laughing, taking pictures, and waiting for Duchess and Purnell to arrive. The vibe was good… peaceful.
Then Larry’s phone rang.
He looked at the screen.
Bethany.
Larry sighed and answered.
Bethany’s voice came through instantly with attitude.
“Wow, Larry… you finally answered.”
Larry replied calmly, “Yes Bethany, I picked up.”
Bethany didn’t hold back.
She reminded him how he ignored her calls yesterday, questioning how he could be “busy all day and night.”
Larry explained he had been preparing for Destiny’s big birthday celebration.
But Bethany wasn’t satisfied.
She quickly shifted the conversation to the real reason she called — the Miami trip she wasn’t invited to.
“You left me out of the trip to Miami for Destiny’s Sweet 16,” Bethany complained.
“And now you don’t even answer my phone calls?”
Larry’s patience was running thin.
“I answered the phone and all you bring is bad energy,” he said. “The least you could do is uplift me right now.”
Bethany tried to change her tone, claiming she only wanted to check on Destiny and wish her a happy birthday.
Larry didn’t fall for it.
“Did you call to check on Destiny… or to be nosy?”
Bethany then asked if she could talk to Destiny.
Larry shut that down quickly.
“You have her phone number. Call her yourself.”
Not getting what she wanted, Bethany started asking about Brooke and Sharra.
Larry responded bluntly.
“They’re fine. Brooke is happy… and not pregnant.”
Bethany went silent for a moment.
Larry wasn’t done.
“Well, she didn’t need birth control either.”
That hit hard.
Bethany quickly reminded him she had already apologized for buying Brooke birth control before.
But Larry had heard enough.
“You know what… I’m going to go. I’m celebrating my niece’s birthday.”
Bethany tried to end the conversation politely, but the tension was still thick.
“Alright… talk to you later.”
Larry simply replied:
“Bye.”
He hung up.
Larry looked around the room. The party energy was still alive.
But everyone knew one thing for sure…
Bethany was definitely not done with this situation.
